IRB Application Instructions - Procedures

Help Information

  • Describe all research activities that involve human subjects. This includes prospective data collection as well as analysis of human subject data existing at the time this application is submitted.

  • Distinguish between any procedures already being done for non-research purposes (e.g., already done as part of curriculum, diagnostic purposes) and those being done strictly for research purposes (e.g., conducted based on the research protocol design, would not be done in absence of the research).

  • Describe the proposed analyses and include any appropriate descriptions and measure/indicators/variables.

  • Submit instruments (e.g. surveys, interview questions, questionnaires, etc.) and measures as an attachment.
