Click Compliance System

Click is MSU's research compliance system for IRB, IACUC/Animal Operations, Biological Safety (IBC), Radiation Safety, and Stem Cell Safety.

Outage alert: On Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 7:00 PM until 7:30 PM, Click Research Compliance System will be unavailable during planned maintenance. This will affect all Click modules: IRB, IACUC, Animal Operations (AOPs), and SAFETY (Biosafety, Radiation, Stem Cell).

Use Click to submit all new applications to the IRB. New submissions include:

• Initial review of exempt, expedited, and full board studies
• Continuing review (renewals)
• Modifications (revisions)
• Human subject research determination
• 45 CFR 46.118 determinations
• Requests to use an external IRB
• Requests to use a Single IRB for U.S. National Institutes of Health proposals
• Unanticipated problems involving risks to subjects or others
• Protocol deviations
• Other reportable events
• Closures
