MSU Winter Break

MSU will be closed Thursday, December 25, 2025 through Sunday, January 4, 2026 for the holidays and winter break.

Because the university will be closed, the MSU Human Research Protection Program, including the Institutional Review Board (IRB), IRB Reliance, and Compliance offices will also be closed December 25, 2025 through January 4, 2026. We will reopen at the start of business on Monday, January 5, 2026.

We encourage researchers to please keep this in mind when planning your IRB submissions. If you plan to submit an application to the IRB office in December, we encourage you to submit it as soon as you are able to. If you have any questions, please contact: irb@msu.edu
